Converting the PDF is the easy part

Plenty of tools will turn a bank statement PDF into rows of text. The harder problem is what happens after: checking that the running balance actually adds up, coding each line to the right account, matching it against a receipt or invoice, and getting it into the software your firm already uses without a second round of data entry.

Krani is built around that second part. Statement conversion is the first step, not the whole product, so a converted statement lands in AutoCount or SQL Account already coded and reconciled, not as a spreadsheet someone still has to clean up.

From PDF statement to posted entries

1. Upload the statement. Drop in a PDF of any length, for any client. There's no per-client limit, so a whole month's statements can go in at once.
2. Krani extracts every line. Date, description, debit/credit amount and running balance come out as a clean transaction table, with the balance checked against the statement.
3. Entries get coded and reconciled. Each transaction is matched to the client's existing chart of accounts, and to any receipts or invoices already on file.
4. Data goes where it needs to go. Post directly into AutoCount or SQL Account, or export to Excel if that's what the workflow calls for.
